Useful files

A PDF rewrite of Hans Reiser's The Naming System Venture -- Future Vision, with some reformatting and rewording, and with the diagrams recreated from scratch. Note that, at the time of writing, namesys.com is down, so this is the only copy I know about (thanks to the Wayback Machine for the original HTML and images). I do have the HTML version too, but I have not made it available.

I have also rewritten When Good Interfaces Go Crufty by Matthew Thomas, as this was no longer available online (only via the Wayback Machine, again).

Note that the book Practical File System Design with the Be File System is no longer in print, but a PDF version is available from the author's site.
