Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 100g (½ cup) unsalted butter/margarine
- 100g (½ cup) caster sugar
- 100g (½ cup) soft (light) brown sugar
- 1 medium egg
- ½ tsp vanilla
- 130g (1 cup + 2 tbsp) plain flour
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 90g (½ cup) chocolate drops
Instructions
- Pre-heat the oven to 190°C (375°F)
- Mix the butter/margarine and sugar together
- Beat in the egg and vanilla
- Sift and stir in the flour, salt and bicarbonate of soda
- Add the chocolate drops
- Drop the cookie batter onto a greased baking sheet using two teaspoons
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, until golden brown
